This capstone project will look to you for clarification to some of science and nature's greatest mysteries... the cryptids.  Cryptozoology is considered by most in the scientific arena as a "fringe or even a pseudo-science, yet the general public is still fascinated with the tales of strange creatures that loom in the shadows that appear to be real but haven't yet been documented enough to consider their existence.  Our study of geologic history will provide us an in depth/ behind the scenes look at some of the most awesome creatures to ever have lived on Earth. Stuff of science and wonder we are amazed at the different evolutionary characteristics that have been witnessed by these many different specimens. These unique creatures have led us to wonder if anything like them exists today... These cryptids are beasts that peak our imagination and give us nightmares from the legends and stories that are told about them.
Now you are a cryptozoologist on the hunt for one of these elusive creatures.  Your task as a team of 3-4 is to provide the general public with evidence that either supports or refutes the claims that these creatures exist. This capstone will push the boundaries of science, imagination, creativity and quite possibly your belief in what your eyes, ears and heart may tell you about the world we inhabit.
