NEXGEN STEM ACADEMY

Building the Next Generation of Leaders Inspired by Curiosity, Creativity, and Innovation.
Our Team

OUR MISSION

The NexGen STEM Academy seeks to build the next generation of leaders that are inspired to assess and solve community and global problems collaboratively through curiosity, creativity, and innovation.

7th GRADE SHOWCASE
PATIENT ZERO

The Project...

The spread of disease has long plagued communities and societies. In some countries, disease and outbreaks are a constant cause for concern. This unit focuses on bacteria, viruses, diseases, epidemics, pandemics, vaccinations, medications, and prevention. We will also focus on social-economic factors, and social class, as these factors often play a role in the spread of disease, as well as the treatment options available.

For this capstone project, initial instruction and deliverables will be embedded within your core content classes. These initial deliverables will lead to final deliverables that will incorporate concepts learned from these initial deliverables.
